Tiger Island to go under refurbishment following new cubs arrival

Dreamworld’s iconic Tiger Island is slated to be receiving a huge refurbishment in the coming months after it was revealed to shareholders in the group’s half yearly performance update.

Due to begin in March, the facelift is expected to last for approximately three months and will return the area to its former glory.

Guests will be able to enjoy world class animal exhibits that focus on conservation and breeding programs for the endangered species.

The news comes as Dreamworld recently acquired two 15-week-old white tiger cubs from Japan.

A temporary viewing area has been setup in front of the park’s Zombie Evilution laser tag attraction.

However, a new purpose-built playground will open next month, giving guests an easier way to view these cute little cubs up close and personal.
