Warner Bros. Movie World on the Gold Coast, Australia, is in the process of building a Mack hypercoaster. While the coaster has not yet been officially announced, park management has said that the new attraction will become one of the world’s biggest drawcards and the greatest attraction in the Southern Hemisphere.

Here are some photos that were taken today showing that groundwork is still underway, most notably on the fence that surrounds the site.

Some footings which will be located both within and outside the ride perimeter

While the area this roller coaster will cover is not huge, by Australian standards it is quite big

Vertical construction should begin within the next few months, with an opening slated for September
